Wheel of Time: A Horn and Two Dragons

One of my favorite novel series is The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. I've read through the entire main story. There are some major ideas I have about some things going on throughout the story.

Most readers figured out who Taim really is by the end of #6. His comment about the Aiel is a small but significant give away - not to mention his attitude.

Some interesting developments that I have noticed. In order for Rand to win the Last Battle - many rules must be broken - i.e., the Game of Snakes and Foxes. The Aelfinn and the Eelfinn, respectively are actively helping to break some of these rules. But there's more to it.

The Horn of Valere - will be a major rule breaker. It did not exist when Lews Therin first fought the Shadow. It brings dead heroes back from the dead - in essence all dead taveren. Add to this, Moghedian herself brought one back more permanently - but doesn't remember how she did it.

Asmodien - one forsaken with enough identities to make any counterintelligence spy impressed. It's anybody's guess whose side he's really on. Who was his dead wife that died alone while he was out having adventures and travelling the world being the hero? There is enough evidence from what he said to conclude that he is and was Jain Farstrider. But who else was he? Who was his wife? Is it possible that he might also have been Janduin and his wife Shaiel? Is he an ally or an enemy?

Shadar Haran: Who is he - or better yet - who was he? Obviously not a transmogrified forsaken - since there are only four of those and they're all accounted for. He's taller than other Myrdraal, he can carry on an intelligent conversation, he considers all the forsaken to be his enemies - look what he did to Masaana - and most importantly, he showed up at the same time as Lews Therin started "fissioning" from Rand. If the old saying: the enemy of my enemy is my ally - holds true in the Wheel of Time - then Shadar Haran is an ally. But who?

Somebody who has been physically transformed into a Myrdraal and is supposed to be the Shadow's "hand on the world". Somebody who hates the forsaken more than anybody else - and for personal reasons. Obviously, somone from the Forsakens' time. Maybe someone who was forced against his will, Seanchan damane-style via a male a'dam, to start the Breaking of the World and kill his wife and friends - and whom we believed killed himself. The Forsaken broke the rules last time, so the good guys get to break a bunch of seemingly insignificant rules this time.

The stronger Shadar Haran becomes - the stronger Lews Therin becomes - and the more difficult he is for Rand to control. Min's viewing about Lews Therin eventually being completely and physically separated from Rand is important here. Good news for Rand. When S.H. gets to Rand - some sort of resonance situation will have to be done - similar to the Shadar Logoth/taint. When this is done, whose side will S.H./L.T. be on - the Shadow's or Rand's? Either it will be two Dragons against the Shadow - or two Dragons against each other. Either way, what a showdown!
